Jennifer excels at Signature School Inc. in Evansville, Indiana. She placed 2nd at the UE Changemaker Challenge and represented her state at Innovate Within. As an Indiana ambassador, Jennifer is dedicated to making a positive impact.
Claire Deardorff
Co-Founder
Claire is a junior attending Desert Mountain High School in Phoenix Arizona. She competed state in the most elite pitch competition, Innovate Within. She is an Indiana ambassador and placed 2nd at the UE Changemaker Challenge.
Suprita Vavilala
Chief Operating Officer
Suprita attends Signature School Inc, in Evansville, Indiana. She is a talented individual who was recognized as one of the top 20 at UE Changemaker Challenge. She has a passion for working with kids and is dedicated to the upliftment of her community.

Our Story
UpLift18 was founded in 2023 by two high school sophomores, Claire Deardorff and Jennifer Vazquez, who stumbled upon the term "human trafficking" on their For You Page on Tiktok. They realized that many of their peers didn't understand the reality of human trafficking and decided to create UpLift18 to combat false rumors. Their idea was so impactful that they placed 2nd overall in the University of Evansville Changemaker Challenge.
