Why educate the youth?

Human trafficking is a growing crime in the United States, and all communities are vulnerable to this injustice, including students in school environments. In 2021, Congress passed the Human Trafficking Exploitation and Prevention Act, which aims to educate students and teachers about the indicators of human trafficking. With the rise of social media, traffickers have found new ways to lure in vulnerable minor users, making education and awareness more important than ever.

To address the challenges posed by outdated human trafficking prevention tools and limited time in schools, UpLift18 has created a solution; UpLiftAware Videos.

Solution: UpLiftAware Videos

UpLift18 has introduced a unique method of teaching students about human trafficking indicators through their UpLiftAware Videos. The videos feature real-life scenarios where students can interact by selecting the correct pathway question during crucial moments. Educators can monitor student progress and provide corrective feedback if necessary. The videos are engaging and up-to-date, with each video lasting between 5-10 minutes.
